Oath of Darkness Home: Oath of Darkness Guild and Raiding information

Oath of Darkness is a relatively relaxed general Horde guild residing on the Sisters of Elune World of Warcraft Realm.

We try to recruit good, fun, and mature players. If you are all of these things, then you should think about applying for the guild. Our guidelines for recruitment at this moment are lvl 80 with a reference for an unsolicited application.

Most areas on our guild site are only available to members.

Guild Rules

You will be expected to follow the rules explicitly, and will most likely be removed from the guild for breaking them.

If you aren't happy with something, please submit a forum posting suggesting very specifically how things could be improved.

Always be respectful in guild chat. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE rule. Guild chat sharing programs, such as guild2guild are prohibited. Guild chat is for guild members ONLY.

Remember, guild chat is intended for those age 18 and older. If you are offended by someone, please just leave the chat, and let an officer know who was being offensive, and how.

Player notes are for important invormation about each player, such as role, and skills ONLY.

Unless you have made prior arrangements, at the 3 month inactive mark, you will be removed from the guild.

Begging for instance runs, or to join a raid or heroic run before you have been appropriately geared for said run will not be tollerated in guild chat. There is a forum on the website on which you may request this kind of assistance.

If you have a major disagreement with a non-gulid member, please make an officer aware of the situation, and give a description of what happened.

No chuck noris in guild chat. Also, no spamming of trade or other public channels with garbage. We would like for our guild to be respected, and to earn this respect all of our members are expected to act accordningly.

Raid Rules

There will be gear/performance restrictions in place for most raids.

Oath of Darkness uses a form of DKP to help distribute loot fairly to those who participate in the most raids.

Oath of Darkness uses EGPG as its loot system for all raids, including those with pugging players. If you have any questions reguarding loot rules, refer to the EPGP website at http://code.google.com/p/epgp/.

If you sign up for a raid, be there on time.

If you are a consistantly low performing member in raids, you will be asked to take steps to bring your output up to par.

Ventrilo Rules

Oath provides Ventrillo service for you to use (at no cost to you). You are welcome to use it (and if you raid, will be required to). Dont be a jerk on vent.

The vent Raid Channels are for active raids. If you are not in a raid, do not enter the channel unless you have been asked to do so by an officer or raid leader.

Clogging someone elses instance with chatter is considered rude. Keep general chat in the guild chat channel if you are not in an instance group.
